OZONE RANGERS
From the road jottings of The Ozone Rangers:.
On Saturday we were at The Kissing Bridge Ski Resort, in Colden,
N.Y.
There was plenty of snow and plenty of folks on hand and most stayed the
whole night. We had plenty of friends and locals along with others seeing
the band for the first time.
Thanks for visits from Birthday Boy Nils, The Shelley
Boys, George and Ann, Albert and Cindy, Kent and Rhonda, Molly and Mom,
Johhny and Shelly, Carla, The Ashford Small Engine Repair Boys, The Wendel's
Chicken Boys, The Bond Meats Crew, The Oasis B&B Crew, Chet and Barb,
Doorkeeper Donna and Laurie, and Local Legend, Joe Wagner, who sat in
with some fine harp playing.
Thanks to Boss Tony for inviting us in and to
Melissa, Pete and Phil for hard work behind the
bar.
Unless a last minute date pops up our next show will be on
Saturday, the 24th, at Rookie's Sports Bar, on Central
Avenue in Dunkirk, N.Y.
It's a new club for us but we have lots of friends in Dunkirk so we're
looking forward to a good time. We play 9-1.
Normally January and February are a bit slow business-wise but we're getting
calls in for dates and 2009 is starting to fill up. It's the 30th Year
Anniversary of the band and we figured our motto will be "We'll keep doing
it until we get it right."
Thanks for checking out the site and for all your support!
We appreciate it more than you can imagine.
Some of the pictures in our gallery were
taken by our friend and fantastic photographer, John Dutkiewicz.
Check them out!
